i am aware that if i keep this anime hatred thing up i'm going to get beaten with a stick...but it really really annoys the shit out of me...there are no other corpse bride artists on this site that are predominate like me.
i admit, i draw anime...but you know what, its not my main diet. some people are confused why i dislike anime yet i draw it, but you're forgetting thats not all i draw. i actually have a variety...and if you're an anime artist thats looking into it as a profession, i'm just going to say this: the art school will kick your ass out immediately. why? Because there is no skill in drawing anime....i will admit professionals do it well, such as chobits artists or mayazaki especially. but unless you're in japan, you really aren't going to get anywhere with anime. and i'm not saying this off the top of my head okay. arica goes to caliarts and she's seen anime artists kicked out of school all of the time. i'm mad at anime because its a very dominate art form, but since i'm going into the profession of art, i realize that anime...well...sucks. to put it lightly. Richard Williams could kick mayazaki's ass anyday.
so ya, i'm prepared to get bitched at by friends....but i'm just saying what i think and know from my professional friends at caliarts. it just makes me sad that kyle carozza gets jack shit compaired to some stupid cheesy bo bo bo bo bo or whatever the hell its called.
